The beef extension program at Kansas State University strives to address all phases of beef production from "farm to fork".  K-State has a long and rich tradition of working in the nutrition and management of grazing cattle.  Key innovations in the stocker industry during the past 50 to 75 years began in the Animal Sciences and Industry Department in collaboration with other K-State Research & Extension departments.  Current work in these segments of the industry focus on nutrition, genetics, and management.
